Developing a Technically Compliant Affirmative Action Program

This 2-day seminar covers how to develop and maintain affirmative action plans (AAPs). This seminar is catered to federal contractors who are required to comply with executive order 11246 and related laws, and lawyers who advise on AAP matters. Particular emphasis is given to all of the components of a technically complaint AAP, particularly with regard to the statistical analyses required in all AAPs and the factors that influence the appropriateness of those analyses. DCI staff will also review some of the AAP components that are more consequential to OFCCP enforcement, and discuss strategies that are intended to mirror reality, maximize the likelihood of technical compliance, and decrease the likelihood of additional OFCCP scrutiny.
