Juan Carlos Batarse, Ph.D.

Juan Carlos Batarse is a Consultant at DCI Consulting Group. His areas of interest include employee selection, job analysis, and validation. He successfully defended his dissertation December 2017, and will graduate May 2018. His dissertation is titled “Examination of the Effects of Would-do and Should-do Instruction Sets on the Construct-related Validity of Situational Judgment Tests.”

Juan Carlos received his M.S. from Texas A&M, and he earned a Bachelor of Arts from Rice University in Psychology with a minor in Business. During graduate school, he has gained applied experience in assessment development and administration, job analysis, and test validation. He has also gained expertise in the research areas of SJTs and counterproductive work behaviors.
