Julia Walsh, Ph.D.

Julia S. Walsh, Ph.D., is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist and Consultant on the Personnel Selection and Litigation Support Services Group at DCI. Her areas of interest include personnel selection, job analysis, validation, and data analytics.

Prior to joining DCI, Julia was a Senior Analyst on the Workforce Analytics team at Johnson & Johnson, where she studied workforce dynamics and empowered leaders to make smarter decisions through a data-driven approach. Projects she led include a social network analysis and implementing a streamlined selection process. She has previously held positions with Aon Hewitt, the Walt Disney Co., and the U.S. Army Research Institute.

Julia earned her Ph.D. and M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Auburn University. She received a B.A. in Neuroscience from Rhodes College. Her research has been published in the International Journal of Stress Management and Stress and Health. Julia is an active member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology where she has presented several research posters and has been featured as an expert panelist on topics including social network analysis and survey design.
