The Oregon Equal Pay Act extends pay equity protections to a variety of protected classes and prohibits employers from asking an applicant's salary history. More information can be found on the Oregon State website.

How can DCI help?

Under the Oregon Equal Pay Act (EPA), employers who complete a compliant equal-pay analysis and make reasonable and substantial progress toward eliminating wage differentials may establish an affirmative defense against compensatory and punitive damages in civil litigation. DCI will conduct a pay equity study, referred to as an equal-pay analysis by Oregon, for employees located in the state to help your organization assess and correct wage disparities consistent with the EPA..
