Additional Fees

Additional Fees for Work Requested beyond the Scope of the Project

After mutual execution of the Order Form, DCI may charge additional fees in the following circumstances:

  • Travel Expenses: If applicable, travel expenses incurred on behalf of Client are not included in any fees and will be billed to Client at cost. Travel bookings will comply with Client’s travel expense guidelines. Travel time is billed at the standard hourly consulting rate.
  • Changes to Organizational Structure/Employee Counts: If the number of employees and/or AAPs or NDEPs increases by 15% or more above the numbers shown in this statement of work, or if any other organizational change by Client results in a significant change in the scope of the project, DCI may renegotiate the fee structure of the Work Order.
  • Lack of Centralized Dataset: If Client’s data for a project is not provided in a single, centralized dataset for all locations, a fee for the lack of a centralized dataset may be applied.
  • Significant Data Errors: A fee may be applied if Client’s data for a project requires significant rework or data manipulation by DCI in order to prepare reports for Client. (For example, a fee may be applied if there is extensive updating of job titles across a dataset for data consistency). Minor inconsistencies and simple errors may be corrected in the existing data for no extra fee, subject to DCI’s discretion. However, if DCI is required to spend a considerable amount of time reviewing, editing, and correcting data, then an additional fee will apply. Fees for work done to correct data errors will be charged at standard hourly rates.
  • Additional Contacts: A fee may be applied if DCI is required to correspond with multiple contacts at multiple facilities within Client’s organization to resolve data issues and/or answer other questions.
  • Changes in Statistical Methodology: DCI will discuss with Client the scope of this project and various methodologies to be used in conducting any statistical analysis. If, after starting this project, Client requests a different methodology, more advanced statistical modeling, or a different level of detail in any analysis, additional fees may apply. Additionally, if Client requests DCI to run multiple iterations of any particular analysis and/or to use different methods or statistics, additional fees may apply. Fees for work done to provide different or additional statistical reporting will be charged at standard hourly rates.
  • Delays in Project Completion: At any time after work on a project is started, if DCI requires a response from the Client for data revisions or missing information and Client is non-responsive after 14 business days, DCI, at its sole discretion, may complete the project as-is with the data provided to that date. Additionally, if all Client data required to complete a project is not received within 30 business days after a project is started, DCI, at its sole discretion, may complete the project with the data provided to date. Should Client later deliver missing information or otherwise ask to reactivate this project, a project completion fee may be applied.
  • Custom Analysis: If at any time during the project, Client requests to have a custom analysis not otherwise included in this statement of work, a fee may be applied for preparation of this special analysis.
  • Expedited Project: At any time during the project, if Client requests to have the reporting completed in less than 30 calendar days, a fee will be applied for expedited completion of this project.
  • Rework for Completed Project: A fee may be applied for changes requested after reports have been delivered to Client. This fee will be applied when Client requests revisions to the reports based on new or revised data or other information that DCI had not previously been provided. Fees for changes made to reports will be charged at standard hourly rates.
  • Late Data: A fee may be applied if Client is unable to furnish data, causing work on reports to start 45 days after the signature date on this statement of work or 45 days after the start date of Client’s current plans, whichever is later.
  • Work on OFCCP Compliance Review: If Client requests DCI to provide services related to the initial submission of information to OFCCP or subsequent submission of additional information to OFCCP that is not explicitly covered under the fixed fee portion of this statement of work, Client will be billed for these services at an hourly rate.
  • Expedited Initial Submission to OFCCP: If Client receives a letter opening an OFCCP compliance review and Client data required for the submission to OFCCP is received by DCI with less than 30 calendar days prior to the audit due date, a fee may be applied for expedited completion of the OFCCP submission package. Additionally, if any Client data is received five business days or less before the OFCCP submission is due, a fee will be applied for expedited completion of the OFCCP submission package and DCI will not guarantee that the materials for submission to OFCCP will be completed prior to the due date.
  • Expedited Submission of Additional Information to OFCCP: Following the initial submission of information to OFCCP at the start of a compliance review, If Client receives a request for information from OFCCP and DCI is requested to prepare statistical reports or other information within 5 days of the receipt of the request, a fee may be applied for expedited completion of the additional information in addition to hourly charges associated with this work.
