EEO-1 Filings

EEO-1 Filings

DCI will assist in filing annual EEO-1 reports by the government-established deadline. DCI will perform the following services:

  • Engage with Client to gather the necessary personnel data
  • Review the integrity of the data and send data questions to Client, if necessary
  • Electronically upload data to EEOC data reporting system using Client’s login credentials
    • For DCI to upload data, Client’s login credentials must be provided to DCI
  • Interact with EEOC in the event of technical difficulties
    • Note: DCI cannot interact with EEOC on issues regarding assigning of company numbers or password retrieval. These inquires must come directly from Client.

EEO-1 Project Assumptions:

  • Late Data Fees: An additional fee may be applied if Client is unable to furnish data, causing work on EEO-1 reporting to start less than 45 days before the relevant reporting is due to the federal government.
  • Integration with Production of Affirmative Action Plans: If DCI is preparing Client’s affirmative action plans (AAPs) and Client provides a December 31 roster for use in AAP preparation, DCI will use data provided for AAP preparation as the basis for EEO-1 reporting. In order for DCI to use this data, Client must provide information in data templates sent by DCI that will allow for EEO-1 reporting. If Client does not provide all relevant information, Client will be billed on an hourly basis for work by DCI to supplement data that is provided.
  • Consulting on Strategic Reporting: The scope of work regarding EEO-1 reporting is based on the assumption that Client has made all strategic decisions regarding reporting, including, but not limited to, decisions on how establishments are reported, how legal entities are reported, and how employees who have failed to self-identify are reported. Client will be billed on an hourly basis for any strategic consulting regarding EEO-1 reporting.
  • EEO-1 Compensation Data Reporting: The scope of work associated with EEO-1 reporting does NOT include preparation of reports or strategic assessment for any initiatives EEOC develops for reporting on compensation. Client will be billed on an hourly basis for any work done to provide EEO-1 compensation reporting or strategic analyses regarding EEO-1 compensation reporting.
