Derek has been working in the field of affirmative action since 2019. Before starting in affirmative action, he worked at Apple for 11 years in the contracts department, and developer relations. He received his Bachelors in Economics from San Jose State University. Derek also served in the United States Marine Corps for five years, and his Military Occupational Specialty was Ground Radio Intermediate Repairman.
